• Lucas Oil Raceway is an NHRA track.   All vehicles racing will receive a thorough tech inspection. Safety is paramount, and there will be no exceptions made. Please refer to NHRA’s rules for the speeds that you will be running — and that you have all of the required safety equipment, certifications, and licenses to run at that speed. Should you run faster than the speed that your car is certified for — you will be asked to visit Race Control in the tower.
• Liability Waiver: Entry to this event does not make Pentastar Promotions, Gateway Motorsports Park, or any event Sponsor, their agents or employees liable for any damages whatsoever to you, your vehicle, or your belongings. Your failure to read or sign this release does not constitute a liability.
• Race entry includes one 3-day pass and one pit parking pass.
• Only those who have pre-registered may arrive Thursday to set up their pit. The gates generally open to do this at 1PM.
• Children under 12-years old are admitted free when accompanied by an adult. All others arriving with the racer on Thursday of Friday must purchase a three day event pass.
• NSS entries are required to have a NSS tech inspection immediately after they’ve completed their NHRA tech inspection.
• There are 70+ NSS racers in the NSS Classic, and that they need to pit together since they self-administer that racing class. The pits on the far side of the staging lanes and the first row (both sides) of pits closest to the staging lanes is reserved solely for Nostalgia Super Stock racers, and special Exhibitors. It is the only way that NSS is able to match up the various classes within NSS, and promptly line up in the staging lanes. Your understanding and full compliance to this is appreciated.
• The track will be racing all weekend so that all racers have an opportunity to maximize their track time and chances to win cash and prizes each day.
• The gates open at 8AM. It is suggested that you arrive at that time on Saturday and Sunday as racing starts early.
• The track is always very well prepped and cars hook. The track eats transmissions and rear-ends that are less than optimal. A word to the wise is to ensure attention to this area is paid prior to bringing a hard hooking car to the track.
• Drag racing at the Monster Mopar Weekend is efficiently run to keep the groove warm and sticky. Should you have an oil-down, pull the car to the wall and stop as soon as safe as to oil-down a minimal amount of the track, and reduce the clean-up time required to get racing started again.
• Pentastar Promotions reserves the right to change or modify the race program at any time due to circumstances beyond our control.
• No shirt sales without prior approval.

Important Rules For Drag Racers

Please read the rules for the class you wish to enter prior to registering for that class. Knowing which class your car is legal in will save a lot of last minute changes at the track.

RULES & REGULATIONS

VEHICLE PASSES
Only one vehicle pass will be issued per space. Vehicle pass MUST be affixed permanently to the lower left corner of the vehicle’s windshield. The sticker cannot lie on the dash or be taped to the windshield. No vehicle sticker shall be reproduced in any manner. Registered exhibitors and holders of vehicle passes are responsible for their use and/or misuse regardless of circumstances.

VEHICLE PARKING
Any vehicle found illegally parked may be towed at owner’s expense; no paging will be done. There will be NO parking in aisles.
Repeated misuse of vehicle pass will result in loss of renewal rights.

TRASH REMOVAL
Vendors will be charged for removal of excessive trash that is not properly bagged. Vendors agree to maintain space free of trash and keep it neat throughout the event. It is requested that all cardboard boxes be broken down and stacked.

GENERATORS
Generators may be safely operated between 7 am and 10 pm. The use of generators at any other times is strictly forbidden. Generators causing excessive noise or fumes are strictly prohibited. Generators that vent exhaust fumes directly into adjoining vendor spaces are strictly prohibited. Generators should be vented above vehicles and crowd.

NOISE RESTRICTIONS
Radios, stereos, TVs, loudspeakers, etc. shall not be operated in such a manner as to disturb others.

PETS
Pets are strongly discouraged for health and safety reasons. If you cannot make other arrangements for boarding, your pet must be on a leash and policing/cleanup after the pet is required. Your pet must be under your control at all times, and you are fully responsible for it’s actions, Any offensive or unsafe actions by your pet may result in removal from Pentastar Promotions’ event.

MOTORIZED CARTS, SCOOTERS, ETC.
Use of motorized carts, scooters, ATVs, mini-bikes, or any other form of personal transportation on grounds is prohibited by any one other than a licensed driver and limited to use by participants ONLY. Verification of insurance is required. Operation of such vehicles by unlicensed drivers is prohibited.

FOOD and BEVERAGE SALES
NO food or beverage sales are allowed on track property

ENFORCEMENT OF RULES AND REGULATIONS
Security has the right to take custody of and detain individuals believed to have violated local laws. After reasonable investigation, such person may be turned over to local authorities and possible prosecution.

SECURITY
Night time storage of Midway/Swap Meet vendor items is the sole responsibility of the individual vendor. Please take all precautions to secure your items. Roving security will be on the premises. Individual vendor is solely responsible for the protection of the vendor’s own property and for the protection of vendor’s employees, agents and guests. Pentastar Promotions/Gateway Motorsports Park is not liable for any lost or stolen property or injury to person or property during this event. By attending and participating in this event, you are consenting to the terms of this disclaimer of liability and covenant that you will hold harmless all parties named in this paragraph in the event of any lost or stolen property or injury to body or property at or during the event.

CREDENTIALS MISUSE
Misuse of any show credentials may result in ejection from event.

COMPLIANCE OF RULES AND REGULATIONS
Failure to comply with any of the above rules and regulations may result in loss of the option by Pentastar Promotions to renew a space rental for future events.
